Oh my gosh, yum.
First, I had breakfast with the folks. This was the best french toast I’ve ever had. Well, the blueberries weren’t good…but everything else was delish!
Later, Christmas Eve at the Walton’s commenced. What a nice evening. Everyone behaved and we played our first year of “white elephant”. I got a yummy smelling, wood wick candle and Will got…a can of Spam. Haha…oh well.

Loooooooooong day of driving today.
We headed down to Florida from South Carolina. It made more sense to go from there, then to drive all the way back home and leave from Atlanta. So, that’s what we did.
It was my year to spend Christmas Day with the family. Even though we had just seen my folks, grandma, and Dick in Altanta, it’s gonna be nice to spend time with the whole family.

While going through Will’s uncle’s stuff we found some of his grandmother’s army nurse gear. How amazing is it that I just got pinned myself and here is a nursing pin from the early 1940’s.
Wow. They weren’t lying when they said it was a tradition!

The sky was beautiful today. I love moments like this. Things feel so peaceful and calm.

Headed back home today. Well, for a couple days at least. Then we’re back to South Carolina again.
