I’m stuck.
Stuck in an unmotivated rut.
Days have passed…and nothing has been accomplished…
It’s nice that there are no emergencies or major stressful events at the moment, but why am I wasting my days doing nothing? There are clearly things that I need to do, even things that I want to do, but instead I lie around wasting time doing…nothing.
And the worst part is, I know I’m doing this…and don’t change.

Forgot to take a picture today. So here’s a picture of part of the poetry section at Moe’s in Berkeley, CA. We didn’t have much time to browse…but it was a truly beautiful site and I hope to get back there one day.

This is an awesome candle that I got for Christmas. It’s a wood wick candle and it crackles as it burns.
I absolutely love it. Every time I sit down at my computer, I light it. The sound it makes is so soothing.

I took the red eye back home last night.
Unfortunately, I made plans with a friend to meet for lunch…but took a “nap” before I needed to leave. Instead of sleeping for 1 hour…I slept for 4! I felt so bad that I stood her up! Luckily, I was able to see her later at her house.
I also made sure to stop by ‘Cue and see everyone. I missed those guys!

We took a road trip to Berkeley, CA today. Just the two of us. I found a list of “fun things to do” around the area online and found that near the Berkeley campus was a neat hippie shopping district. Aside from the crappy, grey weather it was awesome. We found out that they not only had another Rasputin store but also Amoeba Music. Talk about trying to restrain ourselves from spending hours there and tons of money today! :)
We also found a really cute metaphysical shop and I got a beautiful piece of labradorite. Plus the clerk was really cute and nice to talk to.
Got hungry…and stopped for a yummy slice of pizza from Fat Slice. We also got some ridiculous chili cheese fries before we headed home.

It was a great day.

One “fun” thing Will and I have done while we’re out here is music collecting. There is this amazing store called Rasputin which sells new and used CDs. I have such a varied taste in music and I’m always willing to try out new music. Well…jackpot!
They have tons, I mean tons, of cheap CDs. Most of which I’ve never heard of, but what I did was go through them and pull out ones that looked interesting. Then, once I had a stack of interestings I’d look them up on YouTube and sample a song or two. If I liked it – I bought it! How fun!

I spent most of today in the hotel room studying. I need to prepare for my first exam…on the first day back! Ah well.
Here I go!
