Year 2/Day 7

image

Pretty uneventful day today.

I started reading a book the other day, “John Dies at the End” by David Wong.  Great book.  My free time these past few days has involved me, that book, and a comfy spot.

Actually, that sounds like a good idea…

Year 2/Day 6

I love watching rain clouds roll in.  It’s somehow relaxing and scary at the same time.

Tonight I saw Train Wreck with two girls from work.  It was a cute movie, and we had a fun time.

I love noticing things in my environment that often get overlooked.  Do you see it?

A gentle reminder to smile on a day full of errands.

Year 2/Day 4

Today was mostly occupied by work.

Not much else going on.

Year 2/Day 3

Worked, ate, worked some more.

After work I met up with a friend from work for dinner and a late night bookstore run.  Fun times.

School out! (For 2 weeks)
I’ll drink to that!

Year 2/Day 1

Well, the 365 Days of Inspiration only lasted 2 days.  Ha.  Oh, well.

I decided to stop doing it because it wasn’t fun for me.  Finding things that inspired was fun but having to write about it seemed more like work to me.  I wanted to let people know about my inspirations, but I didn’t like writing it.

I’ve never been keen on writing in the first place, and having to narrate someone else’s journey wasn’t for me.

I loved narrating my journey.  I really enjoyed the 365 Day project this past year.  Some days were tough, but the end result is amazing.  I can’t wait to see what this year brings!

So begins Year 2 of 365 Days!

Prisca Strother

Welcome back to day 1.

I’m so excited to start this journey, and to see where it takes me.

I figured I’d start with a woman who gives me goosebumps when I  hear her sing.  Prisca Strother.

I first heard her live about 1 1/2 years ago at Eddie’s Attic.  I’ve been following her ever since.  My hope is that one day she’ll put out an album that I will listen to over, and over again.  :)
