Blah. Long day, not great picture, blah.
This was the only picture I took today. :(
This work thing is kicking my butt. It’s good though. I can already feel my muscles getting stronger, but my feet are killing me.

Well, today was…something.
I worked at Sprouts this morning, and headed home tired and sore. I like that I have a physical job, but it hurts sometimes. I’m in need of some new shoes for sure.
So, after work I relaxed a bit, and then decided to try and play with some bubbles to get today’s picture. This is the best I got. I like the concept, but I need more practice. This shot isn’t the greatest. Oh well, practice makes perfect.
After the mini photo shoot I decided to go out to dinner (Johnny Carino’s, Yum). But…as we were leaving…my car wouldn’t start.
G r e a t . . .
Luckily, everything worked out ok and now it’s time for bed. :)

Meow. This is Oreo, my roommates cat.
He seems to love getting his picture taken. Every time I’m outside looking for things to take pictures of, here he comes strolling up my way. It doesn’t help that he’s such a darn cute thing, a little mean sometimes, but cute.
Pretty low key day today. Worked, napped, hung out. Good times.

I got the job at JCP portrait studio today! :)
Now I have to decide between my second job being Sprouts or Starbucks. This has been very confusing for me to try and decide. I just don’t know what to do! … … …
For now though, I need to sleep. I have to be at work at 6 am…something I am NOT used to.

Well…It’s been a busy past few days. Even though it’s late, I guess it’s time to catch up. :) I have the day off tomorrow, so I can stay up late without losing much sleep.
My best friend in the whole world, Kerri, came to visit, and I’ve spent most of this weekend with her. We’ve known each other for 20 years. Wow…to say that is actually pretty amazing. I love her to pieces, and I love that we can not speak for months…and still have such a strong, understanding relationship.
So, between working at Sprouts and sleeping, I hung out with Kerri. I helped her friend move stuff into storage, checked out a quilt shop, finally went to Junkman’s Daughter (got some fun magnets), went to a party, and this morning I had breakfast with some friends.
It’s been great. Busy, but great.
Tonight was another great night. Will and I went to the Oddball Comedy and Curiosity Festival. There were a bunch of great comedians (Reggie Watts, Hannibal Buress, Aziz Ansari)…but mostly I was excited to see Louie C.K.
Ever since I the first show I saw, I’ve loved him. He is just so fricken funny! Love it. Love him. Funny.
Tonights show was great, the day was great, the evening was great.
Things have been pretty great lately. Busy – yes, tiring sometimes – yes, but overall – nice. I’ve met some great new friends, hung out with cool people, and have more jobs that I know what to do with. :) I can’t complain about how things in my life are going too much.
I’m trying to focus on all the positive things are that happening and changing, and enjoy every moment. I’m very thankful for all the positive people in my life that support and love me.

Today was a great day. :)
Work at Sprouts went well enough. I mean, come on, it is work after all. While I was on my lunch break (getting a quick snack and coffee at Starbucks), I got a phone call from…Starbucks! :) It was the manager offering me a job! Yay!
So now…I have to decide if I want to stay at Sprouts, or go to Starbucks. Of course, I told the manager at Starbucks that “Yes, I accept to job offer”. At least until I get this job decision figured out.
Then, later this afternoon I got a call from the manager at JCP asking if I can come in for a second interview. She mentioned that we would be doing my background check that day as well. Which basically means I got that job too!! Dang…what to do, what to do?
It’s great though, to have choices now. I gotta say that I like that part.
And of course, the best part of the evening (yes, it can get better!) is that the new Step Up movie came out tonight!! :) I finally got to see one in the theater. I know they do not have the greatest stories…but they always make me feel good.
I love that.
So, like I said to begin with…Today was a great day. :)
Therefore, my picture of the day fits perfectly. I see faces all the time in the strangest places. I’ve often though of photo documenting them…I guess this would make a good addition!

Okay. I’ve been working on editing wedding photos for hours, and it’s now 3:30 am. I have to get up in about 4 hours, so I’ll write more tomorrow.
One interesting thing I noticed tonight – Even though I’m exhausted, and it’s way too late…I still posted my pic of the day!! :) Yay!

Today was a last minute effort, and an experimental one at that. I created this picture using an app called Light Camera. It allows you to experiment with the aperture and exposure time. This picture was created using a tea light candle inside of a colored glass jar. It’s…interesting.
I had a rather busy day today. It started with a second interview at Starbucks (things look great…), followed by lots of study time. Also, my peaceful vacation ended today, so I had to pack up all my stuff before class. Then, headed up to Gainesville for my final exam…fingers crossed I did well! :)
Funny story about school. We have a whole 2 weeks off before the next semester starts (I know…not long enough), and I was looking forward to NOT thinking about school. Well, I see an announcement that the professor for next semester is planning on sending out the syllabus in the next couple days. Which means, for those of you not in nursing school, I get to start doing homework in “the next couple days”. Yay. Not. I guess I have to bite the bullet and order my $370 worth of books now. Boo.
On another note, I start at Sprouts tomorrow. 7 AM…eww.
I’ll have to get used to this thing I’ve heard people talking about. Something about going to bed before 11pm…strange I know. All in good time I suppose. :)
There have been so many good things happening lately, and I’m so grateful for all of them. My photography is stretching and growing. I’ve got more jobs than I know what to do with. Opportunities are around every corner, and I’ve got tons of people that love and support me.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
