Day 7

Day 7

Bad news: Yesterday I spilled coffee on my phone and killed it.  :(  I lost a lot of pictures, contact info, notes, etc.  :(

Good news: I got a new phone with a better camera (Samsung Galaxy S5).  Today was the first day using it for my photo project, and I’m actually pretty happy with it.  I was wandering around the yard taking pictures and experimenting with the camera when I got this shot.  Other than that…nothing exciting happened today.

Day 6

Day 6

Pretty simple really.  Bad day.

Day 5

Day 5

Ok.  So far the worst picture, in my opinion.  I took a close up of my purse today…because it was late…and I didn’t take any other pictures.  I phoned it in today.  Sorry.

Day 4

Day 4

Today was fun.  I wasn’t sure what I was going to take a picture of…as usual.  So I headed outside to look around.  I started by taking some pictures of the trees in the yard and noticed Oreo rolling around on the driveway.  I decided to try and capture a picture of him from an unusual angle.  This is what I got.  I also managed to get a few other outtakes of his paws and legs that are cute.

Day 3

Day 3

Today was a lot of fun.  I went to Oakland Cemetery for “Tunes from the Tombs” with a friend.  I am so inspired and comfortable here.  Strange to say…I know…but there is a beautiful contrast between stone and nature, life and death, busy city life and serene, quiet surroundings.  Of course, today was not one of those quiet days.  :)  Today was filled with music of all genres flowing in every direction.  Pretty cool in fact.  This picture is of a food truck where I bought an awesome corn dog.

Beer batter…check.  All beef hot dog…check.  Delicious…absolutely!

Day 2

Day 2

Success!  I made it to day 2.  :)

Today was inspired by the fact that I’ve been working on a quilt for my friend’s birthday.  This is a Husqvarna sewing machine that I inherited from my great-grandmother.  I love this machine!

Day 1

So.  This is Charlie.

I’ve been inspired to start another 365 day photography project and this is Day 1.

To those who may not be interested in this little adventure of mine: Forgive me, I’m trying to reconnect with my creative spirit.

To those who are: I invite you to join me!  Add a picture of your own or comment on mine.  I welcome good AND bad criticism equally.  I can only grow from the experience.

Welcome to a little piece of my world.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.  :)
