Nothing exciting happened today. Just another day.

Wow. 100 more days…
Well, today’s my birthday. :) And it was a wonderful day. I started off the day treating myself to the salon, where I got my hair cut and colored. I love it!
After that, Will treated me to KoKai for lunch. Yummy…
Next was school (the only “thumbs down” part of the day), and it figures this is the day we had to stay an hour late to catch up on a missed lecture.
When I got home though, I was again treated by my awesome boyfriend. :) Flowers, balloons, cake, icecream and presents. Boy. Am I spoiled.
Everything was wonderful, and a great way to end my birthday. Here’s to another year as great as the last!

So, I spent most of today writing that darn paper. Yuck, I hate that.
This shot is from Bonaventure Cemetary. I know, I know…I didn’t actually take a pic today…breaking my own rules, but oh well. They’re my rules! ;)

Boring pic today…it’s was a day of research. I didn’t realize I had a paper due tomorrow. So…I spent most of today finding articles, and will spend most of tomorrow writing. Boo.
Spring break…over. Welcome back folks.

Well, Savannah welcomed us with with a rainy hello. Sadly, I didn’t get the photos I’d hoped for, but we still had a wonderful time.
Our first stop was Bonaventure Cemetary, and what a beautiful place it was.
After that we headed into the historic district for a trolley ride and a mini history lesson. We had a nice tour guide who told us all about the area, and we ended the tour on River Street.
After a nice stroll, some delicious lunch, and a few unnecessary purchases, we headed back to our car and made our way home.
The thing I learned from this trip is that sometimes it don’t turn out as you had planned. But, it’s what you make out of it that counts.
I was lucky enough to have some company this trip, so I refocused my attention to him and the environment instead of my camera. :) I don’t think he minded.

We had plans to visit friends in NC this weekend, but unfortunately they had to reschedule. Since Will had already taken time off from work, we decided to go to Savannah instead.
So, that’s what we did today!
After we checked into the hotel, we drove around historic Savannah for a bit. Then we drove over to Tybee Island to check it out.
Now, to figure out what we’re going to do tomorrow…

My camera simply amazes me sometimes. I know I’ve said it before…but I mean it. I love it!
These flowers have been a constant source of inspiration since I got them. Even half dead, they’re still beautiful.

Today started with breakfast in bed. Not sure what I did to deserve that, but it was delicious.
We decided to drive up to Helen, in hopes of getting some neat pics. First off, don’t go to Helen at 5pm on a Monday. Secondly, don’t go in February.
It was a ghost town. No stores were open, no people to be seen. Creepy…and cold. Luckily, I was able to get a couple good shots, but we didn’t stay long.
