Day 241

Long day at work today.  At least tonight was busy,  so the time went by quicky.  Wish I could say the same about the morning.

Day 240

Tonight Will and I saw Takenobu at Eddie’s Attic.  I think this was the 4th time we’ve seen him…amazing as always. :)

Day 239

I really love my new camera.  I don’t understand all the technical aspects, but it takes some really good shots.

Here are a few other ones, some of which I’ve edited.

Exam today, clinical tomorrow…

Day 236

I really love the textures on this one.

Day 235

Studying.  That’s my life right now.

I’ve got my first Peds exam tomorrow at 9am, first OB exam Tuesday at 6pm, and Mother/Baby clinical Wednesday at 6:30am.

Fingers crossed I do well on all three!

Day 234

Another grocery store photo shoot.  :)  Some days, it’s the only place I’ve been that day…and it’s late.  Funny thing about today is, these flowers came home with us.  So they might show up again in the next couple of days.  Hard to say.

Today, I was a little emotional.  Some days my emotions flip flop so quickly, it’s hard to keep up.  Hormones, stress, I’m not sure what.  Either way, I’m very grateful to have such a loving and supportive family, and a wonderful boyfriend.

I’m a lucky girl.

Day 233

image

Unproductive day study-wise, but I made an effort to get out of the house for a little bit and got a few good pics.

I also had a small fish in a big pond moment.  The sky was clear blue, not a cloud to be seen.  I was walking back towards our apartment, and I saw a plane trail going straight up in the sky.  I paused for a moment and watched it go up, and up, and eventually curve over me and continue behind me.  While I was following its trail, I noticed the moon and how small it appeared in the sky.

It was a beautiful, introspective moment.

Day 232

So…I’ve been sick with a head cold the past few days, and in the middle of the night last night I wake up to find out I’ve got conjunctivitis!  What the hell?!?

At 9:00 am I drag myself to the walk-in clinic to get some medicine, and pay $110 I don’t have.  Yay.

The doctor tells me to stay home for 3 days…which means I have to miss my first Peds exam tonight, and a double at work tomorrow.  Great.

Blah.  Sometimes I just don’t know.
