Day 338

I’ve got my quilting hat.  For some reason, the bug has bitten me again.

I sent the brown quilt I started last year off to a professional quilter to be finished, and I’m getting started on a table runner for me as well as a baby quilt for a girl at work.

Fun fun!

Day 337

I was on my way to school today, and noticed how the sun was shining on my foot.  Still not sure why that caught my attention…but it did.

It’s interesting though.  We all drive so much on a regular basis, and we really don’t give it much thought.

What else do I take for granted?

Day 336

Worked another double today.  After a long day, I tried a yummy new beer.  Now, I’m home relaxing and headed to bed soon.

I haven’t really had much to say lately…

Day 335

First day back to school, and we have a 180 question test.  Yay! :(

Luckily, it does not count for a real grade.  It’s more of an assessment tool to see how much we’re retaining.  So at least there’s that.

Day 334

Worked a double today…kind of slow though.

Day 333

Happy Mother’s Day!

We hung out in Chattanooga today.  Had breakfast at the hotel with Will’s folks.  Then we went over to his grandma’s house for lunch and visited for a bit.

Day 332

Baby showers, graduations, traveling, oh my.  :)

We had a baby shower for the 3 ladies at work this morning.  It turned out great and they seemed to enjoy everything.

In the afternoon we headed up to Chattanooga for a graduation party, which was nice.

Will’s parents are in town also, and they were kind enough to get us a hotel room for the night so we can stay up here for Mother’s day.

Day 331

image

I’m finally able to breathe at work!  Yay! :)  It seems the steroids have helped improve my “condition”, whatever it was.

Worked a double today, and made good money.  Not much else happened today.

Day 329

The Hurst review is over.  I still have a lot to learn, but luckily I still have close to a year left before the NCLEX.

It’s kind of scary to think I’ll be a nurse in about a year.  I feel like I know so little, and have no idea where I’d like to work.  It’ll come, I know, but it’s weird to think about.
