Flowing Through Mountains

Obviously, today was a bit of a cheat.  Honestly though, I needed it and it’s my game to cheat.  :)  I feel like I was more creative today than I would have been otherwise, so I’m giving myself a pass.

This photo was done using a double exposure app I found today.  The pictures were taken a few weeks ago at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. 

I absolutley love that place.  Every time I visit, I have a great time.  It’s beautiful, and I capture so many great shots.  Love, love, love.

I’m in need of a creative vacation.  I’d love to find some time to go look for inspiration, and get better photos.  Lately, I’ve felt like my pictures are so-so.  I want to do better, but I simply don’t have the time right now.  Between work, school, and day to day routines, I’ve been struggling to even take one picture a day.

I almost cheated today…but couldn’t do it.  I suppose the reason is that I haven’t liked my pics lately.  Sure, I’m taking one everyday…but I’m not inspired by them.  Guess I’ll keep trucking away, and hope for a better day tomorrow.

Another late night, last minute photo shoot.  I like the texture on this one though…it’s very…interesting.  :)

As I was on my way to the car to go home tonight, I realized I had not taken a picture today.  Looking around, I saw all these neat wet leaves in the parking lot.  The light seemed bright enough so I snapped this picture.

I really love the shadow that the leaf casts onto the concrete.

I need to find time to write a good blog post. 

Unfortunatley…tonight is not that night. :(

This is my life right now.

The only picture I took today, was of a textbook that I need to buy for clinicals…fun times.

Tired.  I worked a double  (10 hours) at Cue tonight…and I have to get up at 4:30 am tomorrow for clinical.

So, I’m off to bed.

Not much happened today…worked, and worked…now I’m tired.  Off to bed.

Not a great picture today.  Honestly, I almost forgot to take one, which is strange because I actually thought about it quite a few times today.

This was an idea I’ve had for awhile, and I may try again with better lighting.  Tonight was last minute…and there was a spider over my shoulder that was kinda freaking me out, so yeah.

Meow.

Louie is getting so big, and look at those eyes!  He’s starting to get a bit skidish…which I don’t like…but he still purrs when we hold him. 

I guess we should decide if we’re keeping him or not.  :)
