Flowing Through Mountains

I had a lazy day playing final fantasy for hours today.  It was fun. :)

Today started with breakfast in bed.  Not sure what I did to deserve that, but it was delicious.

We decided to drive up to Helen, in hopes of getting some neat pics.  First off, don’t go to Helen at 5pm on a Monday.  Secondly, don’t go in February.

It was a ghost town.  No stores were open, no people to be seen.  Creepy…and cold.  Luckily, I was able to get a couple good shots, but we didn’t stay long.

Will and I treated ourselves to dinner at Frontera tonight…yum!

I can’t believe I’ve been able to keep up with this photography project.  It’s been a great outlet for me, most days.  There have, of course, been a few days where I’m too exausted, or forget, and those days it’s a bit of a nuisance…but I carry on.

I have also really enjoyed the blog aspect.  Surprisingly.  It’s not like I’m a superb writer, or have some great thoughts to share…but it nice to just speak my mind some days (like today obviously).  I don’t really care if anyone reads it, but if someone does and gets something, anything, from it…that’s pretty amazing. 

So to those of you out there…if you’re out there…thank you for sticking around, and I promise there will be atleast 109 more days to come!  Some interesting pictures, some lame pictures.  Some insights to my life, some complaints, and some days of nothing. :)

Again, I love my camera (and my boyfriend)  :)

Tonight we went out to dinner with some friends, and I had Cuban food for the first time.  It was good, but not my favorite.  I still think pizza and Mexican food are at the top of my list.

Worked a double today…tired.

Luckily though, I’ve got the next 3 days off! :)

Ice on trees + sunlight = beautiful sparkles

It’s interesting how there can be such a drastic difference in weather between home and school. 

At home, there’s no ice, no power outages, etc.  But in Gainesville, there are ice covered trees all around, which apparently caused many power issues.

Crazy, beautiful.

Test tomorrow…should have studied more…

I decided to go abstract tonight.  I really love the intense colors, and my camera.  I love the days when I can find some time to play around with it.  I always seem to get some interesting shots.

Brr…icy rain tonight.  Not fun, but got some neat pics.

Work kicked my butt today.  Made good money though, and ended the night with a chicken bowl from Chipolte.  Yum…
