Flowing Through Mountains

So, today was a “long shift” day at work…and boy oh boy was it! 

I. Am. Beat.

Because of that, today’s pic is an oldie, but a goodie.  This was taken up in Chattanooga on Mother’s day.

I’ve always loved having a wall of inspirations/memories.  Photos of good times and people , quotes that make me feel something, and all things creative.

I don’t always have time to “be creative”, but I’m always drawn to it.  I guess that’s why I started this project in the first place…to allow myself at least a few minutes a day to “be creative”.

I may not always succeed, in my opinon, but I’ve managed to do something for 346 days now!! 

That’s something.

Worked a double today.

Lunch was slow, but dinner was pretty good.  Fire & the Knife played tonight, which was awesome!

I had an eye appointment today.  Everything checked out fine, and I didn’t have to pay anything.  Yay!

Wasn’t quite fun driving home with dilated pupils…but I managed.

Baseball time!

My wonderful boyfriend got us great seats on the first base side just past the dugout, 3rd row to the Braves vs Rays game.

I didn’t know who to cheer for!  We had a great time and the Braves won.

After talking to the dean of nursing, I decided to get a minor in psychology today! 

I know, I know…why would I want to double my course load during my final semester of school…but I am.

And excited about it, which I’m sure I’ll have to remind myself of come November.

Worked a double.

Not much else happened today.

Progress on the baby quilt!

Well, turns out I’m a lot broker than I thought!  Guess I better quit spending money and taking days off.   :)

I’ve got my quilting hat.  For some reason, the bug has bitten me again. 

I sent the brown quilt I started last year off to a professional quilter to be finished, and I’m getting started on a table runner for me as well as a baby quilt for a girl at work.
