Worked a double today…kind of slow though.

Happy Mother’s Day!
We hung out in Chattanooga today. Had breakfast at the hotel with Will’s folks. Then we went over to his grandma’s house for lunch and visited for a bit.

Baby showers, graduations, traveling, oh my. :)
We had a baby shower for the 3 ladies at work this morning. It turned out great and they seemed to enjoy everything.
In the afternoon we headed up to Chattanooga for a graduation party, which was nice.
Will’s parents are in town also, and they were kind enough to get us a hotel room for the night so we can stay up here for Mother’s day.

I’m finally able to breathe at work! Yay! :) It seems the steroids have helped improve my “condition”, whatever it was.
Worked a double today, and made good money. Not much else happened today.

The Hurst review is over. I still have a lot to learn, but luckily I still have close to a year left before the NCLEX.
It’s kind of scary to think I’ll be a nurse in about a year. I feel like I know so little, and have no idea where I’d like to work. It’ll come, I know, but it’s weird to think about.

Well, I finally feel well enough to catch up.
I hate that I didn’t keep up with the blog for a week, but once it got away from me…it was hard to get back with it. That combined with being sick and sleeping a lot.
But I’m back. Let’s see, this week I’ve been doing a NCLEX review (school…on my break…jeez), and start back next week. Only 2 more semesters left! Excited and scared…and not looking forward to those student loans.
